Real Journeys has been recognised as the best in the business at the Tourism Export Council Conference Awards Dinner, held in Dunedin this year. Real Journeys was named ‘Operator of the Year’, which for the first time was a joint honour.
Applicants are judged on their innovation, marketing, business operation, communications, accessibility and industry relationships. The award is voted by Inbound Tour Operator business partners.
Real Journeys Director of Sales, Ryan Ingram, paid tribute to the entire team, from sales to operations staff. “They can all take credit for the award which is a solid vote of confidence in the company and comes after one of our busiest seasons for some time. Everyone has worked hard to provide visitors to the region with an outstanding experience and winning the Operator of the Year award recognises and endorses those efforts.”
The last time Real Journeys won the award was just two years ago.
Real Journeys has operations from Stewart Island to Queenstown – including world renowned cruises in Milford and Doubtful Sounds and the heritage steamship TSS Earnslaw.
