RealNZ Introduces Procure-To-Pay System
At RealNZ, we want to be easy to do business with. We value our suppliers and want to improve how we work together. This includes the introduction of Coupa, a cloud-based procurement-to-pay software solution. Coupa is a global leader in electronic purchase order and invoice processing.
Easy purchasing, easy invoicing, easy payment
Coupa will be a simpler, easier, and more efficient way for us to make purchases and to ensure you get paid for the goods and services you provide RealNZ (that is, RealNZ Limited, Real Journeys Limited, and Cardrona Alpine Resort Limited) in a timely and transparent manner.
Through this system, we’ll be able to electronically generate purchase orders, receipt goods and process invoices received from you, providing visibility along the way.
What are the benefits of doing business through Coupa?

How will we ease you through this transition?
As with any change, we understand this new system and process may take some getting used to, so we’ve set up this page as the “go-to” for accessing information about Coupa.
The preparation to move over to Coupa will happen in three stages:
- Get Ready - Get in touch with your correct contact details if you haven't already.
- Get Set - Learn more about your recommended invoicing option and how to set this up (the way you will receive purchase orders and send us invoices). We plan to send you links to an information website 16 Sep 24.
- Go - Follow Coupa’s supplier instructions & training to be ready to use the new system by 14 Oct 24.
How will this affect what I do in the future?
You may already be using Coupa with another customer or supplier and be familiar with the software. If not, or you would like a refresher on your experience, we’ll be supporting you with clear guidance closer to go-live.
Depending on your recommended invoicing option, you'll be sent a follow-up email with additional links that will provide more detailed system guidance. The recommended invoicing option is based on invoice transaction volume and spend.
- To transact with RealNZ you’ll need use the Coupa system and process.
- All invoices must have a valid RealNZ purchase order number to be processed. Invoices without a purchase order number may be returned to you for re-issue with the purchase order number included.
How will this affect what I do now?
- For purchases from Go-Live onwards, RealNZ will require suppliers to submit invoices electronically through Coupa.
- RealNZ, Real Journeys, Cardrona and Treble Cone go-live 14 Oct 24.
- Please note that Cardrona and Treble Cone will hold off sending purchase orders via Coupa till after the ski season finishes.
